These machines
that I have investigated and seen in several books were painted in the
factory,
except for the first ones in black, in an scheme of gray violet RLM 75 in the
uppers and light blue RLM 76 in the lower, then they were camouflaged with RLM
76 with form in general of spider's web.
This shows it clearly in the book of the Have-219 of Schiffer publications also
in the guide Monogram Guide of German camouflages comes out a very clear picture
of a these machines and it is appreciated this type of inverse camouflage,
lastly the only machine survivor is being restored in the same way by the Museum
Smithsonian in USA.
The scale model is of Tamiya 1/48, interior whit photoetch of Eduard, detailed
the landing lights in scratch, the transparencies and the navigator of the loin
in vacuform. The paint: I used a badger 100 GXF with low pressure and dilution
like the milk with paintings Testors and Thinner 500, the rest is pulse and
patience.
The He-219 D5+ CL is the version that Tamiya like 310188 whose numeral
is incorrect. This machine belonged to the first group of the wing of air night
hunter group 3 (I NGJ 3) its numeral one correct is the 310189, the yellow color
of the C indicates as belonging to the 3° squadron (Staffeln) of this air
group.
This plane was captured in Grove, Denmark, it was designated 23 AM (Air
Ministery 23) but there are not reports from their shipment to England is
believed there were in a test flight same in Grove with a British pilot to the
control.

The He-219 TH whose numeral it is 290123 it is also one of the versions
of Tamiya, a very good picture of this machine appears in the page 32 of the
book UHU He 219 of Schiffer Publications that gives it as belonging to the I NJG
1 (code G9) and in the one that appreciates to me with the lack of the right
address helm, what I have seen in some models how puts on makeup in gray RLM 76
and I find a bad interpretation of the picture.
In the book War Prices of Phil Butler is a good picture of a similar machine Air
Ministery 20 that it points out it as numeral D5+BL 290126 whose outline is
similar to my pattern for what I suppose that due to the outline and the numeral
one (290126 TH) it belongs to the NGJ 3 and not to the NGJ I then would not be
G9 TH but D5 TH and the white border of the T would be of the 1° squadron, but
this is alone my speculations, so you will see.
