In the 60 and early the 70 it was used the B25 a lot, among other models for "business". Of them the but popular it was the B-25.
Of course all those airplanes were a group of "irons old bundles with wires". In Asunción there was several stopped that served of reserve. There were also several men with fame of "super" pilots that carried out the "business", and that they finished leaving the airplanes of those thrown everywhere.
In the Argentina, Santiago del Estero was one of the favorite counties for the activity, although it was also used a lot of Córdoba, the north of Santa Fé and the Provincia de Buenos Aires.
In a certain moment, a government of Santiago del Estero, decided that the airplanes that were captured abandoned by those "mau", denomination that they were given to the "businessman", would be confiscated by the county with the purpose of making a commercial line, it loads, ambulance, etc.
That B-25 and the Curtiss C-46 that is in the town of Loreto (Santiago del Estero) in front of the church of the town they were confiscated this way.
They used them until they needed maintenance. But when they saw the high maintenance costs, they left them inactive, and this way the B - 25c are in the airport of Santiago del Estero, abandoned and without maintenance.
