The Argentinean army buys in 1970 24 self-propelled howitzer AMX Mk F3 with a gun of 155mm. These vehicles were deployed in the Armored Group of Artillery 1 "Coronel Martiniano Chilavert" in Blue County of Buenos Aires among the years 1970 and 1971 and in Armored Group of Artillery 2 in Rosario del Tala, Entre Rios in May of 1972.
